Default 02 buick century back glass replacement

02 Buick Century

Back glass (rear windshield) broke, I picked up a used one and ready to replace it.

There is a seal/molding GM # 10427559, that wraps around the window and then the molding sits in the body.

Any tips for getting the rest of the glass out of the molding ?

Also, does the molding snap into the body, or is it urethaned ?

Thanks

Piano wire to cut the adhesive. You will need a super caulk gun with the proper adhesive to reseal the glass....

or better yet, call one of those glass companies that come out to you. Tell them you already have the glass and just get a quote on installation. Should be less than $100 for them to install it for you.

Thanks I'll try the piano wire... I have the new seal and urethane to do it myself. Any tips for applying the urethane ?
