Yep, the plugs are under them individual coil packs. Good Luck and God speed with the rear ones.

The hose goes to an air-pump. When you do alot of WOT'ing it likes to throw junk on the air filter. Some GXP mysteriously were missing that hose. I wonder if Friday they ran out of them at the plant and forgot to backtrac Monday.

Next little hose is a vent-off from your tranny. Surprised they didn't have our engines suck those vapors into our intakes also.

That box has the Air intake pipe hooked it to the front of it, and the passing air cools the PCM. I figure they made the first box bigger than the second to reduce restriction/improve airflow,

So what is the best way to the rear plugs? From underneath?

No. It'* done from the top. You remove the sway bar, the EGR, then the back cosmetic cover and feel for everything you see in the front. First the coils packs, then the chrome retaining bar, then each plug. A tight fitting extension on the socket helps when bringing the plug out of the hole.

Easiest way to replace the rear plugs..... Let someone else do it!!!

also the easiest way to know your car well is by doing the work yourself

to each his own, but i really enjoy working on my car, everything on my bonneville gxp was done at home, and same thing with my previously modded GTP. this way i know the job is done right, and if it wasnt im the only one to blame and bitch to lol

First time I did spark plugs on a 3800 I said "This is the last time I EVER do that", second time was a pain in the butt, took a lot less time though. Now I can swap them out in no time and know it was done right.

Yep. Your ready for the next level Tom. Take them out hot.

Luckily I haven't had to attempt that one yet. I did just get a nice new pair of gloves though, and I've got some long sleeve shirts. Just gotta stay away from those manifolds.
