Anyone have the GM part# for the new lower fog lamp wiring harness? Has anyone here tackled this install?

no i haven't, i would assume it is cut and splice (GM'* normal), or it may have a seperate plug given it is available seperate from the headlight harness

Back when these were newer cars, and a few members got the new harness, they reported still experiencing short life of fog bulbs. Including me. Don't know that it fixes anything. I recently replaced both even though one was still burning. I upgraded to the 100 watt bulbs.

Any problems with the 100w H3 bulbs melting the fog light assembly?

We've had a couple guys here use them and I haven't heard any horror stories yet, so I'm trying it. Haven't got the car back out of the body shop yet to try them out. The stock ones are worthless, unless your looking for shiny things along the side the road.

I bought the KYO Plug-N-Play Heavy Duty Wire Harness Upgrade Kit (Model H3) # KYO-PNP-WH-H3 from racinglab.com to go along with the 100w H3 bulbs.

I got the 100Watt H3 blubs and they lasted about 2-3 months........ I replaced them both 2 weeks ago with 100watts and yep, the driver side is out again (2 weeks).... So I have 4 more blubs and after they is gone im upgrading the fogs and headlights to HID.... Could be cheaper in the long run.

This is my third Bonneville. On my '88 SSE and '98 SSE the fog lights would only work when the headlights and tail lights were fully on. On my '05 GXP if the fog light switch is on they run all the time. I only use them at night, why Pontiac wired this generation to run all the time god only knows. I sure don't need to have my fog lights on during the day burning up bulbs. Mine stay off unless I need them.
