Default Transmission temps

Due to events beyond my control, I have to take my GXP to the track.(road course) I was wondering about the tranny. temps. I know the best thing would be a gauge. I was wondering if the car knows if the temp is getting too hot. And if it does, will it tell me?

The owners manual states all the messages the DIC will display. I am sure there is some sore of trans overheat light or something. Hope you dont have the OEM brakes on it when you go to the track. I slowed down lightly at 130 and the braked faded so much it they were worthless for another run right away Ö

Which track are you going to and when (or have you already)?

I'll be at Brainerd International Raceway on Wednesday if it isn't rained out. Would be sweet to see you and your car there.
For the speeds you'd see at the drag strip you should be safe with the stock brakes.

I looked in the manual and got my answer. And yes the tranny temp warning does work.
