Default Total Brake Failure

Today I lost my brakes on the Aurora.

Lost all pressure in the pedal, upon inspection the fluid was leaking, so its either master cylinder failure or a line.

I will post more information as I find out

I'm fine, the car is fine...albeit no brakes. Anyhow, I assume since it was total pressure loss that it was the master cylinder or a tear in the brake fluid lines. There was a trail of fluid underneath the car. At any rate. There should of been some kind of warning or precursor (ie weakening of the pedal pressure, or loss in fluid indicated by the DIC)

I intend to get to the bottom of why it failed. It could have been much worse, ie tomorrow going to work in rush hour traffic thank you very much.

I'm not a happy camper right now

Steve relax.....

Back on topic.

Called GM this morning, no TSBs on this item, and just general service maintainance in the past.

This must be a first because I have seen mikey and TaylorD online and they have added nothing to this thread... :?

Oh well...still waiting for the call
