so my ride isn't as smooth as before, our roads here are really bad and my car just hit the 64+ k miles mark. I think its time to check whats going on (and yes, i noticed this before i installed my 20s again)
I know there are shocks, struts & springs. can someone educate me a little bit about them in general and about the GXP also?
Wondering what parts were used from OEM (ACDelco?) or some different brand? and might as well i'm on it, anything better than stock to go in?
John i need your help
and everyone else'* don't get me wrong lol

gm shocks and struts usually last about 30 to 50k before going bad for me. i always put kybs on the vehicles i plan on keeping for a while. i havent had a kyb wear out yet so i dont know exactly how long they will last but ive put some miles on them.
The front struts are basically generic to the brand (GM). The rears are "load leveling" meaning air shocks. If you like the load leveling feature then I think your choices in the rear are limited. If you disable load leveling, you will have to disable the air pump also.
