Default Question for the guys at INTENSE

Since a couple of you have GXP'*, I was wondering if you have been able to "tweak" your cars to obtain any more HP? Have you tried anything out yet?

They've done baseline Dyno work on the first GXP (Scott'*), and had (at least at one point) plans to test some ideas. Todd Allen (Rogue) will be in here soon enough to give you what specifics he can.

Eagerly waiting as well.. though I'm not sure what can really be done being that the capacity of the trans isnt much higher than the stock output of the NS. At least thats what I've been told.

Just curious by what exactly you mean by the "capacity" of the trans? I thought the trans was fairly well built for these cars, please enlighten me as to what you have heard.

i believe that the N* in the GXP uses the 4t65. that is the same trans used in the L67, and doesnt handle torque. therefore modding the N* will be a challenge keeping the trans in one piece GM should have used the 4t80 that is in the Cadillacs

The Northstar in the GXP is mated to a 4T80E.
