About 1:30 p.m. they called and told me the car was ready. I picked it up around 4 and drove it home. When I pulled the car into the garage, I checked the fog light operation. Previously, the fog lights operated with the DRLs. Now, I must have the headlights on for the fog lights to work, and they don't turn on with the DRLs any more. So, something must have changed with the new harness that changes the way the fog lights operate. I will wait and see if the fog lights burn out again, but with them staying off while the DRLs are operating, their life should be greatly extended.

I looked over the work order, and it showed parts and labor for the wiring harness and two fog light bulbs. So, it looks like the dealer did everything they were supposed to.
Good think to notice. That must be what they are doing now since they know its a apin to change the bulbs. basically making sure you only use the fogs at night so they dont burn out from being on durung the day.

Mine still work during the day with the headlight off. I pulled both my DRL fuse and relay from my car so I nolonger have DRLs anyway.

Clarification: Just noticed this weekend, that the fog lights ARE staying on with the DRL as before. So, we'll see how long they last now.
