Friction Master Ceramics from Advance Auto. They're a decent midrange brand. However, I've already bought a set of Akebono Pro-ACT Ultra Premium pads to replace these when they wear out. Might be worth noting that including the rotors on my GXP, I've installed 6 pairs of R1 Concepts rotors and everyone I've installed them for has been very impressed. I have a set of their blank zinc coated rotors on the back of my regal because they were cheap as dirt; $45 shipped for the pair!!!

Definitely a high quality rotor for spirited street driving and stop-and-go traffic, but make sure you get a premium or ultra-premium ceramic pad to go with them.

Calipers are still red, but the brackets never were. I'll be painting those black when it comes time to change the pads again.

I love those rotors... I have them on my Intrepid front and rear with Cmax brake pads from autozone... I'm going to put the same rotors on the GXP with Cmax pads when the surrent pads wear out.. or by this winter.. Your GXP looks great with those rotors!!! When i got my GXP the rotors was rusted also, but i painted them black and they now look much better!!!!!!!

I don't know how you can live with the cmax pads. I think they're the biggest pile of crap I've ever used. I tried them on my 95 Regal and I melted them on every hard stop I made. I can't count how many times I smelled the smoke from my own brakes. Either you don't drive like I do, or I got some insanely crappy pads. They were also extremely soft, to where I had to step my foot down half way into the pedal to get a good feel for the brakes. I had bled them properly and there was a huge difference when I went with the Akebonos.

Akebono Pro-ACT Ultra Premiums and Bendix CT-3'* are MUCH better pads.

After turning my front rotors 3 times in the first 40,000 miles, I got a set of slotted & dimpled rotors from Brake Performance. More expensive than what you guys have been posting, but guaranteed not to warp. I was seriously studying the cross drilled ones, but found dippled are the only ones that they guarantee. These give you the same benifits, but are supposedly stronger. I had them black anodized then turned them to lightly skim surface clean before install. Came with free pads, ceramic upgraded for $10. Back OEM ones were still causing some shudder so I went ahead and did them as well.
About 7,000 miles on combo so far and they're great. Coming off the interstates is no longer a scary event! Just modulate the pedal smoothly to full hard and your face will feel like Jim Carey'* in The Mask!
