I think all of us GXP owners in club are pretty aware of all your CANT do to mod the LD8 and Here is my solution to the problem.
I have installed the ZEX wet nitrous kit # 82023. It can be had directly from Zex for slightly under $600 and is the most safest, professionally engineerd,
atractive nitrous kit I could find... It makes Holleys kit look made in Japan (and probably is with shoody hardware and rubber tubing and clamps for gas
instead off all stainless hoses and fitting as ZEX provides.) Note in pics below where the module is placed, It was put in upside down for ease of hooking up
hoses and the ZEX badge was pulled off and glued on rightr side up.
The kit goes in easy, and seemless with no other parts needed and average machcanical skills are required. I put the Nirous/gas jet in plastic just after
maf sensor and before the rubber boot going to throttle body. This is almost an inch less than the recommended distance from the throttle body(6"'*)
and very close to maf but the engine responds well to the 75 hp jet combo, and the flow rate at which the nitrous is introduced( recommend by ZEX at
2500 Rpm under load) doesnt bother the maf either. I found the Maf to register the additional flow under injection very good at the 75 Hp level. ( Kit comes with
3 jet combo'* to 125Hp) Just over a major N*'* builders stated lower end durability of 400Hp.(CHRFab of California)
I would also like to add that making sure you have room ahead of you at end of nirous run to back off throttle only halfway for a few seconds to allow nitrous
and gas in maniflod to clear makes this kit tkat much safer.More testing with the 125HP Jetting will follow but the next few weeks are devoted to the all air bag
strut suspension going in.
The kit icludes a throttle position switch feed wire that makes the kit alot safer. You merely tap the tps wire out of nitrous module to the blue wire of the
3 wires going in to throttle body, then follow the "learn procedure" directions that come with the kit...... I tricked mine into activating the jet a little before
full throttle by putting a 1 inch shim under gas pedal during the "learn procedure" I did this to give myself some slack because this engine can and has hit
rev limiter in first and I cant downplay the danger of a nitrous predetonation in a plastic intake manifold. ..And sitting under an aluminum hood
A cabin mounted fire extingusher is a Good Thing and already in mine. Eventually I will have a CO2 bottle in trunk and nozzles mounted to inside of hood.
Also the fact our maf is not in throttle body and our engine has the most complex predetonation sensors up thru "05 also makes the kit work well and
safer.( the sensors pull timing at the slightest hint of predetonation) I would like to say it would help non supercharged 3800'* as well but the spraying the mix
directly at a throttle body with maf in it would be an issue to resolve.
Theres quite a few Nitrous Oxide Injection F.A.Q.'* out there and I found htis one to be most imformative so I've added a linki to it to answer alot of
questions you might have.

here is some pics of the installation and a few more will be added, particularly some of closeups of where jet is installed and the tapped wire on the throttle body

A SPECIAL THANKS TO DREAMAKER KUSTOMS for all their help with this and making it an enjoyable day with alot of beverages and knowledge injested.

Wow, looks really impressive !!!!!!!! I hope you plan on making a video showing the performance of your newly modified GXP. Myself, and I am sure many other members would love to see it.

Haro, That isnt my sig, only a plug for shop that helped so much and in range of alot of club members.) My sig is still off... MR SIG OFFICER, SIR
j/k
I can tell you the mod was an incredible step up just at the 75 HP jetting and Scary keeping car under control with torque steering. I am looking for and would appreciate any ideas on how to cripple this.

Car is getting ready to be held ransome again at shop for a new round of mods that I hope even leaves my mouth drooped open.
