Sugar disables a vehicle by clogging the fuel system the same way an equivalent amount of sand would. There is nothing about the chemical makeup of sugar that will make it react with gasoline. If your fuel system was in good shape before the sugar was added, you may need to drop the fuel tank and thoroughly clean it along with a fuel pump and filter change. Have you ever considered a locking gas cap?

No, it crystalizes and gels in every little pocket it can. You need to flush the entire system. You may have to replace your fuel pump and strainer, as well as your fuel filter, possibly the FPR, and injectors. That'* worst case.
It will NOT fix itself, but considering your other topic, you may have more serious concerns. No oil pressure should be dealt with first, but it'* kinda hard to troubleshoot with your sweet tooth.
