Unhappy My GXP is 5 years old. How many miles do you have?

I found only one GXP listed on Ebay; my color, my mileage... Buy Now $8750. Wow! Time flies.
I have a 5 year Bonneville with 97,000 miles. The last year for Bonneville, one of the last years for Pontiac.
It'* still one of my all-time favorite cars.
As our cars get a little older, the old problems are still there, but it seems like we're starting to see more and more age/mile related problems. This website will be even more important.

So how many miles do you have on your GXP V8?

74k on mine, and the oil cooler lines are still leaking. I wonder if GM will ever release a redesigned oil cooler line.

Nearing 48k on mine, purrs like it did off the Dealers lot. Other than the IM clunk I am going to live with until it nears it'* warranty expiration, I haven't any issues.

X, I wonder if the casting in your block is flawed, you'd think they would have gotten it right by now.

42k here. Runs great but I just noticed a drip from one of the transmission cooler lines. Must be the extreme cold weather messing around with those crimped ends.

I never replaced the oil cooler lines. Too lazy, and always had something else to spend money on. Its a minor inconvenience. I just pop the sunroof for a bit if I ever smell the oil and it really only happens once every 1-2 weeks. Just annoying that'* all. IIRC the parts are $26 each from gmpartsdirect.com.

'05 with 17,500 miles Had 10,500 when I bought it a year and a half ago. Previous owner was 74 years old and told me he "loved" the car but just never drove it much. Gee I never would have guessed He did bump the front of his garage and needed the header panel painted but it never did quite match right (white/gold tri-coat) I had it repainted and results were about the same... great on cloudy days but didn't match at all in the bright sun Oh well, life goes on
