Leaky Trunk?
I have a 2005 Bonneville GXP with 20,000 miles on it. I keep it in the garage in the winter and outside during the rest of the year. Last week when I was cleaning my car, I noticed a musty smell coming from my trunk. When I lifted the carpet from the bottom of my trunk, it was soaking wet!
Just curious...has anyone had this same problem before? I think I may have a leak.
Thanks

I too had the same problem. When I took it to the dealership they indicated that a seal was missed at factory in the trunk on the drivers side. When they repaired it they basically just used what appears to be caulking along the seam. This left an awful smell in my car for about a week.
You may also want to remove the bottom portion of your rear seat as I found water had ran from the trunk underneath the seat. Fortunately it wasn't a significant amount.
Thats what I call good GM quality control :o
