Leaking Oil Cooler Lines and O2 Sensor
From an older post.................................
"Well.......I just got the call from the Service Advisor. The Rack and Pinion is indeed leaking. They ordered one and it wont be here for over a week as it is coming from the US. Apparently there are none in Canada.
The Stability System problem was being caused by the the steering sensor.
The oil lines are indeed leaking again but they arent willing to do anything with them. They will fix them if I want to pay $759.00, and thats not going to happen in the lifetime.
I will look at getting the parts myself and dealing with it this summer when its tolerable outside."
I had a discussion with the service manager at the stealership and he agreed to some "good will" and said GM will supply the parts if I pay for the labor. The good news is that I will only have to pay for the warranty labor rate which is $270. So thats close to $500 cheaper than before. Even though I know the lines will leak again I will go ahead with it and see what happens.
Also, my Service Engine Soon light came on a couple of times now. Apparently an O2 sensor is having issues although there has been no noticable performance problems yet. That will be covered under the GMPP warranty.
