It is the best sounding stock system I have ever heard. I used to compete and win in IASCA car audio competetion. I know a little of what I speak.

Default GXP Monsoon system

The sound system is very nice and I agree it is the best stock system I have heard in awhile. Can anyone out there recommend a small amplifier or booster that can be added in addition to the Monsoon system? I want to keep it stock, but with a bit more oomph! Maybe even add a subwoofer, as long as it doesn't take up my whole trunk.

What you do is take a sledge hammer and make a bulge in the hood while it'* open. Or you could set a cinder block on the motor and then try slamming the hood closed, thus producing a bulge in the hood as well. PRESTO!! Room for a blower!...and all it took was a few swings of a hammer and some slamming of the hood.

Bah! the Northstar dont need no blower, besides, the aluminum engine gets so hot so quickly any roots style supercharger would be less then effective. It would need a Vortech style SC.

And SC'* are meant to deliver more power at lower RPM is it not? The Northstar gets all its peak power at 4500 RPM+ In that case a turbo is a better option.

4000+ RPM, hold on to yer underbritches.
