Their great sounding compared to the OEM'*. The car will be going to the installers in a few weeks to get the amps installed.

I have Focal Polyglass 165 V1'* in the front & they are nice. I removed the factory tweeter and mounted the Focal tweeters behind the stock location (with a little trimming & liquid nails) and it looks clean. They are a nice choice.
So far i'm using the stock monsoon amp with its built-in electronic crossover so i didn't use the supplied Focal passive crossover. I have an amp that i will install next.
To keep this relevant, i haven't felt any hesitation out of the ordinary for an automatic transmission.

I don't feel the hesitation either... Although I did notice a misfire today could be that cheap US gas I put in it I filled with Ultra 94 this afternoon and will run it to the service dept tomorrow.

Those cars have a rediculous amount of torque management in the PCM. It'* probably doing something to make the downshifting less aggressive in order to keep all the mechanical parts happy.

you know sol I think your right on that when it goes up to like 5k or 6 its starts to pull nicely (not to jumpy just pushes you back into the seat softly) then shifts. Acutally to me it feels like my bros Evo VIII once it gets up to those RMPs and boost (not as dramatic). But the GXP smooths out the shift.

I agree with Sol that there is a rdiculous amount of torque control, but GM did do a good job considering they are trying to protect expensive parts, keep a luxury car sporty, and make Traction Control and Stabiltrack work well in a variety of road conditions. I drove several times between Northeast PA and Cincinnati this winter through some really bad weather and considering the OEM street tires, I thought the car did extremely well. Passed alot of cars and trucks sideways and off the road down embankments.
You really need to pull a WSS sensor to rid yourself of torque managenet, But even just simply turning off T/C on the dash greatly improves aggresive shifting and actually allows you to leave rubber behind, if you care to. Try it and see.
