I finally got to take pics of my N* emblem on the trunk lid. As stated earlier I removed all the factory emblems and used just the GM Corporate one. I like it. I think this is the way they should have done it. What'* your opinion?

I think it looks great
Ya the lettering is different but I think it looks just fine because the GXP emblem is on top of the lights and the Bonneville - V6 emblems are on the bottom so it makes it look pretty well factory
And it looks well enough centered to me and im a bit of a perfectionitsrazysmile:... plus it would be kinda hard to center it and get it perfect with the flag on the left side becuase it would throw it off either way depending on how you look at it, whether based on the X as the center or the actual point to point center of it, someone will always have a difference of opinion

Ummmmm, we dont have V6'* . 90% of the people who come to me ask what kind of car it is to begin with. I tell 'em no, actually its 4 years old. Never been questioned about the N* emblems.

Another Idea
I've heard the Cadillac Division was against letting the Pontiac Division install Northstar engines in the Bonneville but were overruled by GM management. Consequently the only Northstar logo is hidden, appearing only on the plastic engine cover. Here is one option for externally displaying the Northstar logo that seems to work nicely.

Mods I made:
I removed the V8 off of the trunk lid and replaced it with the GXP emblem. I also put red overlays on all 3 GXP emblems (not the flags). I did the same thing when I had my SLE and SSEi. I personally think it looks sharp. It adds a smooth flow to the rear. I recently saw another GXP, same color(silver) with a GXP emblem on the front grille. I didn't like i at all. Sticks out way too much and looks strange. I'll send a pic of my GXP when I get a chance.
