Someone had posted the HiPerformance Pontiac issue but not the numbers.
I figured this topic is a good thread starter for anyone searching topics. I remembered reading it but didn't own the GXP yet.

The numbers there for 04 are close enough there isnt a basis for argument. Division Sales Reps, Dept Heads, and Even the Division Chiefs alter figures to fit their circumstance and need. Exact counts depend on the data looked at, and by who. GM Consumer Reps see Sales figures. Production and sales numbers are always going to be different. Demonstrators, Cars for Shows, Car for Executives/Division Employees and Top Sales Agents, Certain Corporate friendly Leases, Show Room Cars, (Mine was one such car bought in '06 with no miles and full warranty at a price GM wouldn't want to admit to), the list goes on and on, are not in sales figures.

High Performance Pontiac has been in the halls of Pontiac pretty good so, it may be the final final number to include all the "fall thru the cracks" cars as GXP Venom suggests.
Either way ... these are pretty low numbers.
Was 2004 GXP a late year entry?
I know they canceled the Bonne line in like Feb of 05 so only made 05'* for 5-6 months.
Real shame. The GXP is a great car!!!
