Default Good code scanner for GXP

Hunting up a new code scanner for the new GXP. The last one I had was somewhat aged, and didn't much like cars after the late 90'*.
Any recommendation on a good scanner that will pull all the codes? Anything extra I should need for a GXP that other scanners wouldn't do?
Thanks!

if you want to be able to pull all the codes then you would need something like a Tech2

I think it is the lowest one that comes with a USB cable for upgrades.
I'm pretty sure it will still only do engine codes. (No chassis, brakes, etc)

Do you own a laptop? If so, screw the portable scanners and get one from Scantool.net. These things will let you do more than just pull codes and clear the light.
