Question car is constantly unlocking

while driving the car today it is constantly unlocking while driving and sitting there parked. I took the battery out of the remote as I thought it was the problem. This is a major problem as I have a 9 year old who will be sitting in the back seat.

the child safety locks will not let the door open even when the tab by the handle is in the unlocked position. but you are right that is a big concern! what are they willing to do for it? money off/fix it with money off? tell them $8,000 and fix the problem. just my opinion

I know that. But i am looking for a solution for it to not constantly annoying me. It'* like someone is sitting there just tapping the hell out of the unlock button for 5 second increments. then pausing then doing it again for 6 seconds then it will stop for awhile but then start up again. I even held the lock button down but as soon as i let go it did it again. I want the answer so i can tell the dealer before i pick the car up on Monday afternoon. And he can get it to the dealer.

Haven't a clue about this one. Never heard of this problem. Sounds like the door lock module is having a seizure.

**edit** It looks like the lock relay should be under your front seat. Here are some pictures on that.

These are from a 95 but should be the same for your car.

it is all the door locks doing it. So does that mean they all need to be replaced?

I doubt it is an issue with the locks themselves, like venom said, it sounds like the door lock module is having a seizure.

OK we found the problem. We discovered that after he went to the passenger side to pop the trunk. When he went for the handle it slipped and slapped down and the door started unlocking. So he tapped the inside door panel and it would unlock every time he whacked it. The glass installer put a screw right through the door wiring by using a different screw then what was supposed to be used. Dealer had a glass place replace the passenger window due to scrapes from what looked like from removing tint. F'n hacks. He called the glass place and they are going to pay the electrical specialist they got to fix this issue.
