Default Anybody see RIDES with the DTS conversion to HOTWHEELS car?

LAst night on Rides they chopped up a 03 DTS pre-limo conversion and Cadilac donated it to Hotwheels for there conversion They made this big bubble truck thing. Forgot the name., looked it up the "Deora 2" Designed after an old hotwheel from the 1960'*

They cut out the front engine bay with drivetrain in tact and flipped it around and made this thing rear wheel drive. Locked the stearing and made there own for the front suspension with stearing. Funny thing is that they put a chrome blower looks like mp112 on top sticking out in the back. It'* NOT FUNCTIONAL!! All show and no go. It did drive around but the powertrain is stock 4.6 Nortstar 300HP DTS. Kinda cool kinda ugly.

here'* the fake blower

Here'* more info on it. http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/ri...pisode_04.html

I saw it. Waste of a perfectly good car if you ask me.
I guess they never heard of salvage yards.

yeah, I saw that. I was pretty un-impressed. It is ugly IMO, and they should've made a good looking hotwheels instead of that. And whoever had the idea of sticking the non-funtional blower on the back needs to be beat. If they aren't gonna use it, the least they can do is give it to me.

Well if its any consolation a hotwheel also has a non-functioning blower and doesn’t even come with 300hp.

Although as a child I did have some toys that reached scale speeds that must have been crazy. They don’t have HP but PP. or in my case KP.

Personally I wish they contacted me so I could have helped them make it functional. geez.

Oh I have OBD2 GP and 3.4l gm computers disassembled in 3 more weeks and will mod out the Bonneville shortly after.
