Welcome to the club.

Mine was noticed visually, no smell. At that, the only reason I found it was because I had it up on the hoist.

No leaks here, everything is dry under the hood and zero funny smells. Also, I just bought a house with a freshly coated epoxy garage floor, and can verify that there are zero drips making it to the ground.

Leaks are my pet peeve!

Hey guys, update on leaks, New oil cooler lines, they could not find the coolant leak, go figure, said they used dye and pressure test, left vehicle sit overnight and nothing, got her back now, will see how it goes, could really smell coolant at times, then she started to mark her territory like an old Harley, now she has quit leaving any marks, spot was front core support area to the drivers side of center, right below the water pump and coolant hoses, We will see how it goes, I will keep you posted.

I have a 2004 GXP with 89,000 miles on it and have had a couple of leaks. The water pump starting leaking around 72,000 miles. One of the valve covers was leaking ever so slightly around the same time. I have had both replaced and no issues since unless you want to talk about the leaks into the cabin. Searching for that one now. The water deflector has drawn my attention. More to follow

My 2004 GXP had, at about 27,000 miles, began displaying the message "Low Engine Coolant." I took it in, and becuase I had never seen a single drop of ANYTHING leak from the vehicle, they just filled it up and sent me on my way. About a week later, the message returned and I drove back to the dealership. This time, there was NO engine coolant left int he system, and yet still there had not been ANY visible leakage!

They kept the car a few days doing some pressure checking and whatnot, and finally called to say it was an internal engine leak, and that they couldnt not be sure where it was leaking from without taking almost the entire engine apart.

After almost 3.5 weeks without my car, and just over $10,000 of work (all covered by warranty) I got my car back and have not had the same trouble since then. Also, my rental car bill was paid for by GM in full!

My third set of oil cooler lines are leaking :? I'm beginning to wonder if this is because of how they are being installed or if it'* a part problem. They weep from where the rubber and metal crimped. This has been the case with all three sets now.

Haven't even had those on for two months now. Driven maybe 2,000km. My total mileage to date is only 55,000 km.

That'* good news.

Many of the leaks don't result in drips on the driveway. Many are just weeping and can't be seen without some dissasembly (removal the filler panel underneath the front of the car). If you ever have a chance to see your car on the hoist, have a real close look at everything
