Anyone out there have one?? I'm thinking of retiring my bonny (200k miles +) and picking up a newer
Aurora with low k'* on it. Bang for the buck, it is the best used car out there, not to mention that it is a sweet ride.
I'm just poking around to see if anyone has one and what problems (if any) you've had.
Thanx

Thanks for the link to the Aurora site. I've done some looking into, GM doesn't have any major probs with the new style Auroras worth mentioning. So, given all this, I bought an '03 Aurora with 38000 k'* on her. She'* loaded and raring to go!!! I pick her up tomorrow. I'm sad to see my '97 SSEi go but with 320k'* on her, it is time. Too many things are starting to go. I got my money'* worth outta that car. Let'* see how the Olds will be for me. This will be my second Olds (first was a '76 Cutlass Supreme Brougham that gave up the ghost on me after a couple of months, it was my dad'* old car).
I'll pop into this site once in a while to say hello but if you see a Pearl White Aurora in Oakville burning rubber, you'll know who it is.

Try to keep up with me
I'd love to see yer car....we should co-ordinate an Aurora/Olds meet... if yer signed up at ACNA forums we should get something going.
Congrats on the car..is a spectacular ride

I know you'll love the Aurora.. I know I love mine even though I have the 3.5.
They're such a solid car. The way they drive really reminds me of my aunt'* BMW. Very tight feel to them. I am also very jealous beacuse you have my FAVORITE color for the 2nd generation... the pearl white. They look so classy in that color. I looked all over for a pearl white one but the only one I found was a stripped down 3.5 model. Mine just turned over to 39,000 miles. I put 1,300 miles on it already since I bought it and not a single problem so far. But you're also under warranty until 5 years/60,000 miles. Did your dealer give you the transfer papers for the factory warranty?
You already bought one then? Congrats, and welcome to the previously-Bonneville-now-Aurora-owner'* club!
If anyone else is looking, an ACNA member is seriously considering selling his '03 "Final 500" Aurora.
Check out Jim'* link and visit the "Marketplace" for info.

Yup!! She drives like a dream, the chassis is nice and stiff and the car has an incredible ride. BIG difference from my Bonnie-ville (which by the way had just over 320k'* on her when I brought her in). I was sad to see my Bonnie go but it was time, the suspension was gone, electrical problems, climate control problems, sunroof not working, front end (rack was leaking) etc.... I was not willing to spend anywhere from $3-5 k to get her back up to snuff.
Anyways, I am having trouble getting into the Aurora Club website, I've been waiting for my password for a couple of days now. After poking around in the owner'* manual, I've come across some pretty cool options that are actually pretty good (the rain sensing wipers for one-they work great). It'* a worthy successor.

Heh...ya that seems to be a common problem. If you are waiting for your authorization email, check your junkmail folders. It may not recognize the email from Proboards, as stated tho by Scottydl in another thread, we are unveiling a new site shortly, so keep checking BC and ACNA for updates (once you find the authorization email).
I'd still really like to see yer car though...since you are local.

Jim, let me get through my busy season with work right now (RRSPs) and yeah I'd love to show you my new ride. I finally did get onto the ACNA site and my login in BNICOV.
Cool! We'll work something out after the April 1st tax deadline. Good to hear you got on to ACNA, now I just gotta get Sid Coleman up and running and we'll be fine
