XM users, where did you mount? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

thanks for the link.

he definately had/has the advantage of the sunk in bose emblem area and the fact that his shifter button is not behind the shifter.

I ended up mounting mine to the side, but may have to re-do it with a new dash piece that has the bose/gain control indent. because I would like it there much better.

But for 75 bucks (activation fee, 1 month, and the car kit) I have XM I guess it isn't too bad. Not to mention that I got the Skyfi free with 1.5 house kits (already played with it in my house)

I agree, been listening to it for a while now. I guess I should bring my XM home kit, although I would need a stereo to connect it to. hmmmm

if you dont have an aftermarket HU with aux inputs you can get a inline FM modulator. They just feed the signal into the line w/o actually broadcasting it. Which is much better for SQ
