Default xm sureconnect

Has anyone installed the XM Sureconnect on an 04 Bonne using the diversity ant. If so, did you use the front ant.

Welcome.

This is the correct forum for your posts on this question. You'll likely find the post in the 2000-2005 section will be locked as it'* only for mechanical issues Not to worry though.

The rear antenna is the primary antenna for the diversity antenna system. It is for both AM and FM. The front is a secondary FM antenna, but is not really your best choice for this install.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, As you can tell I am new to this forum. I apologize for the incorrect posting. Just bought my car 2 days ago and the stock radio kinda stinks. The light for the digital display only half shines so I thought that the xm would be a nice fix w/out a whole new head unit.

Great info. Thanks. I doubt anyone would want to see pics of my car. Outside its in new condition, Black. But it is only an SE. I will be putting about 120 miles/day on so I hope that the 3.8 can hold up for another 100k or so. It has 85K on it now.

That would be great. I am not that familiar with the 3.8'* but in general all of my GM vehicles have been perfect.

Since you have an SE you have the N/A L36 3800. You need to read this about the Upper Intake Manifold failure: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=38

Great article. Has there been any stats as to the frequency of occurance. 5%, 10%, mileage etc. My partial OCD will kick in on the way home from work tonight and I will be thinking that the rods are going to come flying out :o . I have 22 miles of my trip that is nothing but me and the moose.

Its not a question of IF, its a question of WHEN its going to happen. At 88k, now would be the perfect time, and make sure to get that DEX out of there.

Sorry this has gotten so off topic
