Default Sirius question

I just got the sirius system and like it (except the commercials). My problem is hooking up the audio. I've got a 94 SSEi with a stock cassette/radio/EQ. I pulled it out but couldn't figure out how to get to audio in. The Sirius has a minijack to std audio plugs and an option to broadcast to FM. The FM option is no good because we get transmissions on all the preset frequencies.

HELP?

Mike,

with your stock radio there are only two ways to get the audio from any after market audio device in: FM modulator, or cassette adapter. If you don't have the cassette adapter, pick one up at a Bestbuy, Walmart, Circuit City, etc.. It will plug into the satellite'* mini-jack (earphone) and then you insert the "cassette" like a normal tape, and viola!

Rob,
that sucks about your antenna. The antenna I have is very small. you can see it on my cardomain site. not exactly stealth but it works.

that'* a good question. I haven't even looked at it closely enough to determine what it'* made of. I know the bottom is a magnet. Not sure if painting it would affect reception.

I only ask b/c a friend of mine has a pioneer antenna that he painted to match his car color...looks DAMN good, I was thinking of doing it to mine but wanted to make sure it was going to work (before investing money to get it painted)

Could you possibly stick them on the rear deck under the glass?

Ok GREAT idea for GM, since GM is using XM a lot now. I see suburbans and cars all the time from GM with that silly shark fin, but what if...

They built the XM antenna into the spoiler or an outside mirror!?!?
