Wiring Subs - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

It all depends on what your amp can put out, and what your subs draw. You can't just switch wiring around without making sure it won't kill your amp.

Also check into how low your amp can go. Majority of the amps can go down to 2 Ohms.
