Default Will gain control work if.....

Will the gain control switch still work if i replace the head unit with a new aftermarket pioneer cd player? I need to know quick because i might be getting the pioneer installed tomarrow. Please get let me know quickly.

From my understanding, you can use the preouts on the aftermarket deck with the gain amp, and us the high level outputs from the gain amp to go to your sub amp. I may be wrong though

If you resuse the factory wiring harness, it should still work.
