Was wondering if someone could tell me where the Monsoon amp is actually located in the 2002 SSEi?

And does anyone know its capabilities - channels, RMS, Max, etc?

I think it'* attached to the back of the rear seat though. On the body frame.

the amp is located in the trunk all the way forward of the compartment. To gain access to the amp, you need to remove the plastic covering by undoing toe magnets and then pulling it away from the car. The amp will be on the left side and the Onstar module will be on the right

It is mounted to the back of the left rear seat. You have to take the plastic cover off to get to it. As far as specs, I dunno.

You have to have the Monsoon sound package or have installed an aftermarket one yourself

Correct, the SSEi is the only Bonneville that received the 8 speaker Monsoon system
