i know that 4 gauge wire MIGHT be overkill, but im comfortable with what im doing, i am a EE student in San Diego and my dad is a EE and is licsenced with the state as a professional, so he of course helped me choose the right wire. As for the 20 bucks for all the wiring.....thats what i expected but for some reason, the cheapest retail kits they sell in this area begin at 60ish and they come with next to nothing. I went on ebay and got all i need. ... ...I agree do at least one step better of the required cuz then everyone is ->

Good choice. in some applications other things might matter but when it comes to stereos im standing by my last reply instead of going to install shops u could go to ur local harware store aswell that would be ur absolute cheapest option. i got my kit at walmart for 20 bucks

actullay the bigger the power wire the better that way the amp has more than enough power i drilled a 1/2 hole on the passneger side by the relays
