Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

i know that 4 gauge wire MIGHT be overkill, but im comfortable with what im doing, i am a EE student in San Diego and my dad is a EE and is licsenced with the state as a professional, so he of course helped me choose the right wire. As for the 20 bucks for all the wiring.....thats what i expected but for some reason, the cheapest retail kits they sell in this area begin at 60ish and they come with next to nothing. I went on ebay and got all i need. ... ...I agree do at least one step better of the required cuz then everyone is ->

Good choice. in some applications other things might matter but when it comes to stereos im standing by my last reply instead of going to install shops u could go to ur local harware store aswell that would be ur absolute cheapest option. i got my kit at walmart for 20 bucks
