I can't get this black clip thing under my backseat to open for anything. Any suggestions?

I posted this in the audio forum cause I wasn't sure where else to put it. Not to mention I came across it while re-routing the RCA cables, because as you can see the "professionals" who installed it were either lazy or ignorant.

OMG...Guys..put away the dremels, torches and other extreme tools! Be helpful...legitimate problem here.. probably a first time.

As Harofreaks pics show there is a clip, you can push them sideways and probably get it apart or use a small screwdriver to assist.

I believe what they did is called "post whoring". I'll take care of them in a week and a half.

I just ran my wire next to that, so a dremel is the only way I know how to get it open.

Good luck with that bill.

Thanks guys. I got it open and got those RCAs out. Uninstalled them and ran them on the opposite side of the car. No more alternator whine!
