Default Up Front Bass Question

So who thinks a fiberglass enclosure for an 8" sub could sit back behind the front console?? I don't think it would have to be more than say .25-.50cu.ft. Man that would be nice...

I'm thinking under the HU area....which now that I think about it, properly tuned that would be awesome. I'd use it for more mid range than anything up front.

Haha, I want to see that, so I can have a good laugh. The WHOLE dash would shake like no tomorrow. However, it may be possible if you can find metal on the firewall to mount it to, but it just wouldn't be good. My opinion: cool, but not going to work.

behind the radio area. i'm thinking bolted to the floor or firewall, with the cone firing down. if it'* not touching the dash i don't see why it would rattle the dash (that much anyway, i mean bass rattes everything).

i would worry about the magetic field that the subwoofer creates possibly distrubing something in the dash but a 8 inch cant have that big of a magnet.are ur current subs not ding it for u? if u got the custom box skills then go ahead and give it a try.
