Default Underlighting question?

I have to put my own underlighting kit on..any good information to know before starting this...hope fully tomorrow..on the sides I think i'm going to use one of the screws from the ground effect and then drill another screw, and on the back i'm going to have to drill into metal somehow but the drill is too small so they'll pry have to be ziptied (any easier/more professional way?), and I haven't really looked at the front yet....

THANKS

The screws that came with my kit were garbage (phillips) pot metal. I used stainless robertson screws (square).
There is no frame to hide the sides from direct viewing so you may want to make some skirts. I made angle iron brackets but they didnt follow the contours of the under carrige so I didnt use them in the end. JohnDeer made his skirts out of sheet metal with relief cuts so they hug the underside better, a better choice.
I have a 2000 and had a tough time with the rear tube as it is a tight fit and not much access with a drill, hope yours easier. The front had lots of options, I mounted mine low and is actually mounted above the air dam.

well, my side tubes are actully just ziptied to various points along the unibody seam to w/e is underneat that appears to be strong nuff to hold it... front tube is mounted where the bottom plastic guard starts to slope upwards, rear tube was a piece of cake for me. mounted it to a flap of metal that was already back there
