Anyone here installed a 4 bar type on their Bonneville? Thinking about getting an APC one and didn't know how difficult they are to install. Advice? Pro'*? Con'*? Should I even get one?
Just toying with the idea....

Yes they are very prone to breakage.
Show car stuff only IMO.
PM PDad. He installed some.

Because of our unibody construction there is no frame to tuck the side bars up into. This is why you have to make some side skirts to block the light from shooting out directly to the sides. I tried some angle iron but found it does not follow the contour of the undercarriage and seeps light out from the valleys, you could caulk this but the straight bar looks like 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lbs bag and gives an uneven glo' effect. I would think sheet metal to be better but have not tried it. Johndeerboy made some skirts for his ride and made it work nicely, if you search his posts I think he had some pics?
Led'* maybe better but I'm not sure whats out there, at least with led'* the light direction is more controlable so you might be able to aim the light better?
They're very simple to wire with only 2 wires needed (hot and a ground) that you run back to a switch.

nope you can only see the tubes in you are Laying on the ground. You can never see the tubes on the side of the car
I took the plasitc L channel that came on the box and used it on the car. Its black and drilled holes in it and attached to the rocker mouldings using the rocker moulding mounting hardware
