Not sure if I am posting in the right place (i thought this or detailing). I recently bought some sort of dynamat off of ebay and I want to install it myself. Has anyone done this? If so, do you have any advice to make the process go easier? also it would be good to know technique, problem areas, preperation, etc. I just dont want to do all of that work and have it come off in a few months. I have a '96 SSE and 50 square feet of mat. here is a link to my setup but I can say I have loud speakers all the way around.

Did you use a roller? I was going to buy one but I thought I could rig somethign up. As of yet I am only doing the trunk, you got pretty serious there. Has anyone done multiple layers? I was planning on doing the trunk with at least 2 layers since that is where all of my rattles are. I just hope that once i get the first layer down, the second one sticks to the first. Guess I will find out next weekend. Glad to hear the smell went away because I was worried about that aswell. TY for the info!
here is a link for the stuff I am using (ebay)

My stuff is the v1 but I may get a can of the v3 later on if this stuf doesn't get the job done. I'll let you all know how it worked out and if I recommend the stuff.
