Is there a market for custom built boxes??
I was tooling around the idea of making custom built boxes in the ohio area and possibly ebay.. I have had great success with my boxes and others I have built for friends..
Is there a market is the question?
Would you pay someone for a custom box? that is if you didnt have the means or knowledge to build one yourself..
Just wondering
thanks for any replys..

acid makes boxes for bonne'*, I think jachin made a few too....
Basically what'll trip you up is proving that your design and construction are up to par.

Also im not thinking about it here, just in general... But if anyone wants a box that will blow your mind with 1 10" speaker I have the design for ya...
I build boxes, too, and I have to tell you that if there was a market, you'd have the problem of charging an amount people would pay, and yet enough that it'* worth your time, tools, and supplies.
If you were doing, let'* say, 5 or more boxes at a given time every week, you might be able to save some of your time in the shop and make it worth while, but doing one here and there, and only making like $20 bucks profit might not cut it.
As with anything, it'* worth a try, especially if people are willing to make it worth your time!!!

There could be a market if u advertised and built up a trustworthy reputation. You would really have to offer people a reason to buy by designing uniqe and inexpensive, yet strong solid boxes.
