are you running anything high power?? stock wire is small. I'm sure larger wire can't hurt but I doubt it is necessary.

not really, just 52x4 to all the speaker. the only reason I ask is because I have a ton of extra wire. I dont know if it is just me, but I dont see any need for amping regular speakers. My mid'* and high'* are way loud enough on the Sony HU, and the sub'* do the rest of the job with the bass. Anybody else find that too?

I doubt you have 52 watts rms from a HU.

if you really want to use the wire, go for it.

you can always send it to me.

i rewired my 95 with 12 gauge only because i didnt wanna butcher the stock system.. good thing to, i reinstalled the stock system 100% original when i sold it...

it is not necessary...

your HU is putting out maybe 23 watts of good clean power, 52 max is when it sounds like **** and u never get that high...

IMO... not worth it unless u have the time to

it really depends on what speakers you buy.. Mine even at full volume on a headunit without an amp wouldn't be very loud at all. My speakers are 120 Watts RMS. Most of the highest powered headunits are something like 20 watts RMS per channel.
