You'd just need to provide power to the steering wheel. The controls would need to connect to an IR device for the aftermarket HU.
NO i tried i had a problem with my air bag so i looked for a replacement and i found one that had to the controls so i though hey now i control the radio from my wheel (YIPPE) well anyway to make a long story short i get home only to find it wont work cause bonnies with the option have the extra cable that goes though the streering column to the connecter in the steering wheel with controls anyway i hope this helps

No I think Twister has an aftermarket HU.... in which case if you bought one of those IR modules that connect to the steering wheel controls (to be programmed via the remote) all you need is to supply power.
I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure it'* do-able.....
