I have recently purschased alpine speakers all around and very satisified with them.
I have the type r 5 1/4 componets(spr-134a) in front and 6x9(spr-694a) in the back. I paid aproximently 250 for all of them online.

Ipicked up some rockfords 6x9 2ways from Best buy for 99.00 and they went in about 20 minute. They sound great over the stock speakers. I need to replace my fronts now. Rockford has a pair for the front for around 100.00, think about putting those in.

check out http://www.crutchfield.comthey have good prices and excellent tech support if you have any problems. They also include wire harnesses so you don't have to splice your factory wiring. I have bought a lot of things from them and I have been very pleased.
