Default Speaker suggestions

OK, so this is the head unit that i know i want to get, it'* the Kenwood KDC-X790, loaded with features and even a G-force computer

Now, i was thinking about Kenwood excelon speakers as well, but they seem to be a bit on the expensive side for an unemployed highschool student such as myself, so any suggestions on what kind of speakers you all have and what you suggest would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and i'm looking for 6x9'* in the rear deck and component speakers in the front doors.

I'm looking for some speakers with good, strong bass, clear highs without that anoying "tinney" sound, hard cones, and rubber surrounds. Basically some speakers that are good for rock.

Your best bet is go and visit some local stero shops with your own CD and listen to speakers within your price range. There is such a wide variety of speakers out there plus everyone'* oppinion is fairy subjective. That being said, go for the excelons

The Missus made me go to WalMart last night to buy some snacks (stupid food network), and I listened to some Sony'* and some Pioneer'*. If you wanna stick to the $60 a pair price range, they sounded pretty good. I think the Sony'* sounded the best of the 2

You ain't gonna win no Rolling Thunder contests with them, but 60 bucks for 200 watt speakers didn't seem bad to me....

Dont be surprised if you liked the sound of a particular speaker, bought them, installed them, and then siad WTF? The listening environment in a store does not reflect the listening environment in your vehicle. Just so ya know.

If your looking for a decent starter set, I may have something for you.
