Uncle Jon made me put my flamethrower away. I guess being site staff means I have to be nice.

I absolutely love asking for help! I think that'* what a forum is generally about. Sometimes, even when I don't particularly need help, I ask anyway to get a conversation started and to check if I may have missed something. Normally, I learn the most just by asking about things I think I know about.

Either way, carry on. 6 1/2 components are great speakers! I set up 6 1/2 components in my front and rear door panels even though 92-99 Bonnevilles normally have 5 1/4 speakers up front with no speakers in the rear door panels.

Components > full range. I have a full Kenwood setup in my SSEi with an amp. Even with no sub for amazing bass it'* still amazing.

Yeah, I'm thinking about going full Kenwood to match my HU. But I'm open to suggestions.

What speakers did you guys use?

I'm using PowerBass 6.5" components. They're Chinese, cost me $90 shipped for both sets (4 woofers and 4 tweeters), and they sound excellent.

It will work if you make it work. Cutting is fun!
