Speaker install w/ fishing wire Q's
Hey guys, Viper here.
I installed my new Infinity'* this week and they sound great with the factory head unit. Problem is - not enough power going to the speakers, lots of "pops" I have lots of knowledge on audio equipment. I found to replace the rear speakers for me for the fist time took 2 hours. I am working on a master sheet at the moment for ya'll. I would have rather kissed Dan'* hairy butt than do this again...PITA. Now for the fronts, different story. This was a breeze- IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN AIRBAG. I found that I had to use some extra padding so that the speaker would sit away from the inside of the panel due to it rubbing without the spacing. I used the foam that came with the speakers. I loved and enjoyed installing my 'finity'* and will be replacing the HU later.
Now my Q for you all is this.
Since we have electronics power being feed on BOTH side panels of the car, is it best to run the speaker wire in the middle for my amp?
OH I forgot....Since Pontiac died, all bonnies became CLASSICS overnight...Venom'* does not count because he modded his so much it became the Venomville, thus not a classic...LOL!

Speaker wires might be a little more sensitive but I have my RCA signal wire running right down the driver side of my car to my amp for my subs and don't have a problem with any noise

and yes up the middle, the shorter for any wire in any system the better, the less wire being used, the less chance of problems on the lines...what i learnt anyway. hmmmm ya!
