I just hooked mine up today in my car, under the dash where my ashtray pulls out. (I dont smoke, so no problem, and I have a bench seat. I have to get me an antenna now. I am probably going to get one that sticks to your window or something. I am not gonna get a big whip antenna or put a magnet on my paint. Show me what your setup is though. I will have pics when it is complete. My CB is a Midland 4 watt with 3 NOAA stations and a few other buttons. Pretty simple, but overall a good CB.

i'd like to get one but dont know where there is room to mount it.

The only place i can think of for a floor shifter would be a small one in the sunglasses tray (92-99 i guess) or in the gap below the radio. I am lucky to have the bench on this one.

i had one in my lumina with one of those cell phone look-a-like stick to your window style antennas... it worked ok, about a 1/2 - 1 mile range... nothing compared to a whip though.. only reason i really had the CD in my car was for the PA amplifier... i WILL be doing that again on the 00 eventually

nope...we have cell phones and cb'*. cb'* are just easier to talk to everyone on when half of the people in the school have one. Its near half, no joke.
