Default replace door speakers in my 95

how do you get the freekin interior door panel off? I removed the two screws near the speaker and did a little prying around...but it seemed like I was going to break something so I backed off.

Anybody got pics or something? detailed description? Am I just being too delicate? Does the whole panel need to come off to replace the speakers?

thanks in advance!

yes the whole panlel needs to come off..

o.k you take off all the screws first even the one behind the lil plactic peice with the lil white led light on it. then remove the light from the bottoms of the door , then remove the two peices of plactic around the door handle that lets you open the door and just pull out the lil clips that are holding the door panel on. they are all around the whole door panel so dont be affraid to brake one or 2 or 3 as you can buy a 24 pack of them at autozone for about $4-$5.

so what kind of speakers are you putting in.?

and welcome to the club.....

thanks!

I'm putting in Sony Xplod'*. I already put in 6x9'* and I'm REAL happy with em, figured I'd go ahead and upgrade the fronts too. Eventually probably a 12" in the trunk with an amp. I drive this car to NJ from NC every week(1200 miles round trip), so I likes my tunes to sound pretty good. I'm no audiophile, so no need to spend huge dollars on it.
