Remote wire? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Hmmm there'* no power antenna, I think it uses a funky setup for the stock amp if equipped.

yeah..good question. I'd need to see schematics.

no 2000 SSEi have the antenna built in the front windshield. I dont think it has a stock amp. Right now i have it running to an Hvac fuse and it seems to work but i have been developing issues with my heat and ac this year?

Whenever running an amp off a stock deck, I always put the remote on the radio fuse.
