Default Remote Wire

I am hooking up subs in my car, what color of wire is the remote wire. i have a ten disc cd player and wondering what color the the wire is that turns it on when the car turns on, so i can splice into it. It is either red of yellow, i cant remember. thanks

normally the remot wire is the yellow one coming out of the back of the receiver.

so it would be the yellow one coming to the 10 disc also? i know nothing about wires and stuff

This is correct to turn on the amp but dosen't the changer need both constant (yellow) and switched (red) connections instead of remote turn on?

I figured it out, it was the red one going to the changer, the yellow one is the constant, at least in my case. thanks for all of your help
