rear speaker cover removal
yeah, so i was gonna put some new 6x9s in the back of my 98 ssei...but i cant seem to get the covers off w/o fear of breaking something...whats the easiest, and most effective way to get these off??
are you talking about the metal grate that you see on the rear deck??
if so, push on the front towards the back of the car and lift up. If I remember correctly you can push from anyside and they will come out.

If, for some reason, y'all don't trust the master interior guy Randman on this one, trust me. My front speaker grill on the passenger door is now glued on because I pried it off and the mounting tabs broke.
My grilles fall off at random sometimes... i had one roll through a parking lot before...
anyone here put 6.5'* in their doors? i'm getting some diamond m661'* and they are a bit small than tradition 6.5'*.... i'm just curious how much work this is going be in a 96 SSEi
