Default rear 6x9 install on 96 ssei

on the driver side i took off the grill with the built in tweeter.removed screws and lifted speaker out.on the clip i have a blue,green,black and white wire.i hooked up the green and blue and only had bass no vocal.then spliced in the white and black and sounded fine the i shut off the car a the speaker makes a staticy surge noise???????????? NOW WHAT......

BTW not sure if its bose.i dont have a bose emblem it has the + or - gain switch.

Wait so are you saying the rear 6x9 has both tweeter and mid range
Seperate, or is it one whole speaker with a tweeter right in the middle.

Also are you replacing the speaker?

yes there separate.and replaced em with kicker 3 ways.
