Default Radio repair

Has anyone else sent their OE radio to a place called Replacement Radios in Effingham IL? Their website claims that they will repair within three days. Well, I sent mine to them
on 7/13 and they received it on 7/14. When I called them on 7/21 they told me that the
guy who does the repairs has only been working 1 day a week. They said that he was working that day. Lucky me. Then they could not give me a time frame for my radio. I guess you have to take what they tell you on the website with a grain of salt...just wanted to share my experience in case anybody is looking for a place to send your radio. Buyer beware. I will update if anything changes...

You know i have stripped a few down to the motherboards And hit it with a heat gun, Its called "Re-flow" It basically resets the cold solder joints! works VERY nice!

There is a great article on here about repairing the lights yourself. You buy the mini lamps at radio shack and solder them in. The micro lamp I used was #7219. I wish I could find the link/post for you...
