Question.....
So I have a question.....if I take out the stock radio and replace it with an aftermarket head unit, will I have any trouble swapping them back to stock when it comes time to sell the car? Are there any "theft codes" or anything else that I need to be concerned about in order to re-install the stock radio sometime in the future?

Ya, disconnect the battery. But then if one was put in it will be locked. Not sure if you can do this because I never tried. But get the owners manual and enter a code. Make sure you write it down.

Follow-up!!!!
So, for my 2001 Bonneville SE with the factory AM/FM/CD/TAPE, there is no security code to enter. As per the manual, this unit has a "THEFTLOCK" feature that "learns" a portion of the car'* VIN# from the CAN BUS, it then remembers it for later use, I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to steal this radio.......I'm just glad that it is sitting on a shelf now!!!!!!
